The Joy of Christmas Parades

Merry Christmas You All!

For me its a tradition to attend local small town Christmas parades.  These is nothing more charming then small town ingenuity, homemade costumes, and occasional unrepentant absurdity.

Check out last years Christmas Parade Round Up HERE.

And for a look at some of the most amazing small town Christmas parades over the years click HERE.

This year do to a busy work schedule and my roadtrip of insanity, I was only able to attend a single Christmas Parade in my hometown of Waynesville, NC.  Some of the high lights this year included.

This happy crew......

These strange things that look like a cross between Mothman and a Snowman.....

An appearance by the Ninja Turtles....

A possible Yeti sighting.....

This bear....

This guy....

This guy.....

And then this guy dressed up like a foot.

How festive.
